TLF rodeo team

Bareback Riding

Join our TLF Bareback Riding Team. Now bareback riding takes a special breed. Bareback riding cowboys endure more abuse, suffer more injuries and carry away more long-term damage than all other rodeo cowboys. Bareback riding has been compared to riding a jackhammer with one hand.

Barrel Racing

Join our TLF Barrel Racing Team. Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to run a cloverleaf pattern around preset barrels in the fastest time. Though both sexes compete at amateur and youth levels, in collegiate and professional ranks, it is usually a women’s event. But we will have both options under Team TLF Rodeo.

Bull Riding

Join our TLF Bull Riding Team. Bull riding is a rodeo sport that involves a rider getting on a bucking bull and attempting to stay mounted while the animal tries to buck off the rider. American bull riding has been called “the most dangerous eight seconds in sports.

Steer Roping

Join our TLF Steer Roping Team.  Steer roping also known as steer tripping or steer jerking, is a rodeo event that features a steer and one mounted cowboy.

Steer Wrestling

Join our TLF Steer Wrestling team. Steer wrestling, also known as bulldogging, is a rodeo event in which a horse mounted rider chases a steer, drops from the horse to the steer, then wrestles the steer to the ground by grabbing its horns and pulling it off-balance so that it falls to the ground.

Team Roping

Join our TLF Team Roping Team. Team roping also known as heading and heeling is a rodeo event that features a steer (typically a Corriente) and two mounted riders. The first roper is referred to as the “header”, the person who ropes the front of the steer, usually around the horns, but it is also legal for the rope to go around the neck, or go around one horn and the nose resulting in what they call a “half head”.

Once you join one of the Tattered Lives Farm Rodeo teams, your name will be listed below and then a specific page will be built to showcase what rodeos you have competed in and a bio about yourself.
